Player of the Weekend: Nathan Dyer, Swansea City.
Dyer has 3 goals in 2 games now for the Swans. He is one of my favorite players to root for, because he plays the game the right way. Look out for Swansea, it now has 9 points, good for second place!
Team of the Weekend: Chelsea
“ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!” Jose Mourinho shrieks at the media, at least in my head. Not only was this a good team victory, but Mourinho has to be pleased about the amount of players scoring goals. Yesterday, Diego Costa (2), Branislav Ivanovic, Nemanja Matic, and Ramires scored for the Blues. Forget the 3 goals in that game, they always knew they would win.
Disappointment of the Week Tottenham Hotspur
Spurs took wins in its first two weekends and then blew it at home against Liverpool with a 3-0 loss. Spurs can’t seem to do anything against Liverpool.
Transfers of the Weekend
Daley Blind: Manchester United. The Ajax guy made a name for himself under Van Gaal at the World Cup, should do the same at United.
Loic Remy: Chelsea. He’s awesome and a proven EPL goal scorer. Remy will be a great second striker to go with Costa.
