Ok, so I was very wrong.
Until recently, I had believed Manchester United manager David Moyes had done enough to salvage his job. Things had been rough, but starting with the dramatic win against Olympiakos in the Champions League, United had a decently impressive run in form.
Losing 2-0 to Moyes’ former club Everton was the straw that broke the Scot’s back.
Now that Moyes is gone, who should replace him?
For me, the boss at United needs to have a few key qualities.
2. An attacking preference
3. An eye for youth
4. An ability to manage stars
5.Champions League Experience
These are qualities Sir Alex Ferguson used to such great success.
From looking through these must haves, I think this makes Jurgen Klopp of Dortmund the man for the job.
Klopp has thrown everything into Dortmund, with an eye for bright, young players and success in the Champions League. He also has won the Bundesliga, showing that he has what it takes to win a major title.
I was wrong thinking Moyes would be great, but mark my words, Jurgen Klopp would usher in great success and stability for the Reds.
